Spring Break march 10-14
We hope that all of you have a safe and relaxing spring break. On March 6, 2014 there was an incident close to Los Lomas Elementary that involved a person who tried to pick up a student by offering her a donut to lure her to the car. I have attached a letter for additional information that you can share with your child/children (click here for link).
The week we return to school from our spring break, March 17-21, 2014, all of our ESL students will be taking TELPAS on Tuesday through Friday. Please make sure you are at school on time and ready for your test. Have a healthy breakfast and so that you can do your very best on this test.
March 21, 2014 we will have our Awards Assembly featuring the Reagan Drum line. Report cards will also be distributed on that date.

Books for Bricks-Used Book Sale Collection has begun: Everything is awesome, and we are collecting books for the annual NEISD Used Book Sale. This is a district-wide event that raises money for our school. The more books we donate to the sale, the more money we bring home to Tuscany Heights! Collection bins will be located in the front foyer. Your kids can win awesome awards like an awesome spirit stick, a Lego kit, or an opportunity to spray Mr. Rafajko with silly string! A flyer was sent home in backpacks or click here for more info and labels. Please attach all bags/boxes of donated books with the label provided.
Are you interested in serving as a T.H.E. PTA Executive Board Officer? Interest Surveys due Monday, 3/17: It is time to begin filling the Tuscany Heights PTA officer positions for the 2014-2015 school year and we need you. Please complete the nomination form by clicking here and e-mail to Amanda Foshee, [email protected], or return to the front office in a sealed envelope labeled "PTA Officer Nomination" by Monday, March 17th.
Eat for a Cause at BJ's Restaurant on Tuesday, March 18th: Support Tuscany Heights and enjoy lunch or dinner at BJ's Restaurant in the Village of Stone Oak on Tuesday, March 18th, from 11 AM-9 PM. Tell them you are a Tuscany Tiger, and they will donate 15% to our school. Thank you for eating for a cause!
