Clubs will dsimiss similar to last school year. All clubs will be seated by their specific club. Given that some of these clubs have 90+ members, we are asking that all parents use our routine car rider tags for this dismissal process. As you pull through the car rider lane, staff will call the color and number so that your child will be probably placed in your car. It will look very similar to our afternoon dismissal. If you have not gotten a car rider tag, please do so in the front office as soon as possible. Parents are also welcome to park and pick-up (back parking lot) students for clubs. We will have a staff member stationed at the rotunda doors to assist you. Your identification or color/number will be necessary to dismiss our students properly. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Tara Bailey Parents,

I wanted to take the time to update you about a situation that occurred today with one of our staff members. There was a cafeteria accident that required the attention of EMS. We took this measure to ensure our staff member's safety. We are aware that staff, parents, and students may or may not have seen or heard about some of the details of this accident. Therefore, we wanted to let you know that she is doing fine and should return soon. We appreciate your support! Thank you, Tara Bailey Parents,
We have an overwhelming number of parents dropping students off prior to 7:00a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Your children are UNATTENDED at this time. This presents a safety issue! Our staff works diligently between the hours of 7:15-3:45 and many days long hours after. However, they are not on duty until 7:15a.m. If they are in the building prior to 7:15, they are using their personal time to prepare for our students. Please be considerate of this time as we try our best to arrange our 8.5 hour day around when students are present. I do realize many of our parents have work schedules that require an early drop off; therefore, I have arranged for one staff member to be here and in the rotunda from 7:00-7:15a.m. to monitor students. Then, they are released to the cafeteria and gym areas. Again, if you are dropping off prior to 7:00 a.m., your child will not have supervision during this time. As a principal, I do not recommend this, because your child's safety is a priority. Thank you for understanding our position and thank you for your help with this matter. Thank you, Tara Bailey Parents,
Please find this week's eBlast attached. We look forward to a great week with your children. Thank you, Tara Bailey September 17, 2012 eBlast Parents,
Just a reminder that it is AGAINST THE LAW to be on your cell phone when traveling in a school zone. I have seen several over the last few days and wanted to send a reminder. I wanted to be the first to remind you since we have an officer at the traffic light. I want our students safe and our parents ticket free! Thank you for obeying the law! Tara Bailey |
