5th Grade Class Gift
It’s a special tradition for our outgoing 5th grade class to gift Tuscany with a piece of artwork to be displayed in the front hallway. This year, our 5th grade class will be creating a Tiger Paw mosaic made entirely out of pennies! We love that this project symbolizes not only the end of their elementary school era, but also the farewell to the penny during the 2025-2026 school year. (They are no longer being made after this year). This will be such a fun and meaningful keepsake for years to come. Here is how you can help with this project: - Each 5th grader is asked to bring a minimum of 10 pennies. Collection will begin Wednesday, March 25th and we class will have a collection jar in their classroom. Please donate pennies no later than April 1st. - Supply donation - If you are willing to donate (other than the pennies), we would LOVE some help with gathering the rest of the supplies for their project! Fifth Grade Party |
Date: Friday, May 22
Time: 11-2pm Location: Voigt Pool Center at Hollywood Park It’s a very fun tradition, during the school day that the kids always look forward to! There is a giant swimming pool, sand volleyball, and basketball court. We will be serving pizza, snacks and drinks for the kids. In addition, Kona Ice will be making a visit as well! :) There will be hired lifegaurds on duty during the entire party and parents are also welcome! If you would like to be included in these volunteer opportunities, we will need about 10 volunteers for this. DPS clearance is required. Time: TBA, morning time Location: Cafeteria at Tuscany Heights This is an incredibly special day for our “big kids,” as they finish up their precious time in elementary school and transition to middle school. Along with Ms. Jones and our wonderful 5th grade teachers, we want to make it memorable and special for them. I don’t have a specific deadline yet, but if you want to start sending pictures from field day or the fun run this year, that would be great! Also, please include their kindergarten photo.
