Parents and Students,
Welcome Back! We are thrilled to greet our students and their families in the morning. What an exciting time! As we embark on the first week of school, parents/guardians, please be advised that you are welcome to walk your children to class the first three mornings. We do ask that you retrieve a VISITOR sticker from the rotunda and sign in on one of many blank sign in sheets. After the first three days of school, RAPTOR will be the only way visitors will be allowed to enter the main hallways. This is for the safety of our students and staff. We encourage you to allow your child to be a leader and walk on their own to class. This gives them confidence and allows for them to be a role model as well as a student helper to others that may need a hand finding their location.
Parents with little tigers, we also encourage you to let your students walk to class after the first three days as well. We will have safety patrol and staff members available to help assist them to their classroom if needed. Again, this gives them confidence and helps build leadership.

Yahoo!/Boohoo! Breakfast – Don’t forget to join us Monday morning in the library after you see your Kinder student off on their new adventure. We’ll have donuts and coffee along with helpful information and some encouraging words from our Principal, Tara Bailey.

PTA General Meeting – Sept 1 - We will have a Welcome Back to School Pep Rally and PTA meeting on September 1st at 5:30! Bring the kids and come hungry because we will have the food trucks Stouts Pizza, Bite Street Bistro, and Yao Asian Food and for dessert Kona Ice! Yum yum!! We will have a special gift for the first 100 students to arrive as well as the Reagan and Johnson Cheerleaders there to cheer us on for our new school year. Can't wait to see you there!

Wacky for Khaki! – Be proactive this year by collecting new school uniforms and underwear for our sister school-East Terrell Hills! Look for the donation box in the entryway 8/17-9/30.
