ROOM REPS and CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!! –
I know everyone is excited to join or return to our wonderful school this fall! Throughout the year each and every classroom teacher at Tuscany will need parent volunteers. Volunteering in the class is a great way to be involved, help your child’s teacher and spend time around your child’s classmates. Please consider signing up at Meet The Teacher Night for one or both of these options:
- Room Rep (1 needed OR 2 people who would like to work together as “Co-Room Reps”) - The Room Rep plans and coordinates the class parties, helps make your teacher feel special during Teacher Appreciation Week, and plans a little something for the teacher’s birthday.
- Classroom Volunteers (multiple needed) - help the teacher in the classroom with such things as reading to the kids, decorating doors or bulletin boards, or even cutting things out at home.
- An orange sign-up sheet and additional information will be in your child’s classroom at Meet the Teacher Night. Please be on the lookout for it, and if you don’t see it, ask your teacher. There is a lot going on that night, and they may forget to point it out. If you have any questions, email me, Nicole Motl (Room Rep Chairman), at [email protected]. I look forward to a great year with all of our great staff, families and children! :-) Nicole
