April 7th: Spring Pictures
Kinder Round-Up 8:15-9:15a.m. Library
Let your friends and neighbors know if they will have a Kindergartener starting next year. This will be an informative meeting to discuss registration, meet and greet teachers, and a chance to get to know our upcoming Kinder students.
April 10th-12th: NEISD Used Book Sale- If 25% of our school participates, Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. McCurry will dress like THING 1, THING 2. We want to help promote donations in an effort to raise money for NEISD and receive contributions back for our campus.

What: 2nd Grade “Dr. Seuss We Love You!” musical Information
Who: All students (except for extra parts) wear white plain t shirts and long blue jeans.
When: School Performance- Friday, April 10th at 8:15a.m. and 9:00a.m.
PTA Performance-Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30 (Please have your student in the library by 6:15p.m.)
April 14th: PTA Meeting/2nd Grade Performance 6:30pm

President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) - THE PTA will once again be giving the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service and civic participation from May 2014 to April 2015. Students that record 10 hours of volunteer service will receive a "community service" spirit stick. Students aged 5-10 years old that record 26 or more hours and students aged 11-13 years old that record 50 or more hours will be eligible to attend a special reception and receive their official Presidential Volunteer Service Award pin. Volunteer hours must be logged in the student's "Leader in Me" notebooks as well as on the PVSA website. Volunteer logs must be turned in and hours logged on the PVSA website by April 17, 2015. This is to allow time to verify the hours and order the pins in time for the ceremony. Use the following link to get instructions regarding logging hours on the website.

NEISD Council of PTA’s Used Book Sale - Need some spring and summer reading material for the kids? Looking for an inexpensive way to fill your bookshelves? Want to help the local schools? Then mark your calendars for the 2015 Used Book Sale!
Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, April 12 from 11am to 4pm. Littleton Gym at the Blossom Athletic Center. Paperbacks .50, hardbacks $1. All proceeds from the sale will support PTAs and the students throughout NEISD.
