I am sending a similar note to reiterate the upcoming events and happenings at Tuscany Heights, our excitement, preparation, planning, teacher placement videos, Meet the Teacher, etc.
We are excited to welcome you all to August 2014. We hope that you have enjoyed your summer and take time to enjoy the last few weeks before we dive back into working hard on education.
We have missed the laughter and inquiring minds of our students, but we have all enjoyed our families as well.
A few things...
All class rosters are in the process of being created. Our teachers are preparing a video to send out via email to all parents and students once the lists are final, August 15th. Please be prepared to receive your child's information via email on this particular day. Now, it is possible with everyone sending emails that you may get one in the morning or in the afternoon. If you do not receive this information, please know that we can help you in the office on Monday, August 18th. We are giving the teachers time to share their individualized videos with their families. This gives you and your child an opportunity to see your teacher before you arrive. I know the students are just as excited as our teachers!
Our teachers are also anxiously preparing their classrooms for Meet the Teacher/Orientation Night. Yes, they are already starting. Official return time for staff will be August 18th. This is a week packed full of training and room preparation!

Our PTA website, tuscanyheightspta.org, is ready for the new school year and orders to be placed this week! Make sure and complete the online Welcome Back registration by Monday, August 19th, and receive a free BONUS gift with your order! Your order will be ready for pick up in the gym on both Meet the Teacher Nights.
Calling Volunteers to Prepare for Back to School! We are looking for volunteers to help prepare Tuscany Heights for the new school year. We want our hallways to look bright and cheerful and our Meet the Teacher nights to be a great experience for our families. The current opportunities include decorating bulletin boards, assembling welcome packets, preparing spirit orders, distributing school supply packs as well as setup for and hosting/working at Meet the Teacher.
