Dear Tuscany Parents/Guardians,
I am sending this letter home to update you on an incident that happened on Tuesday involving one of our counselors. The counselor on our campus slapped two students while redirecting them in the cafeteria.
That counselor will not be returning to Tuscany Heights Elementary or North East Independent School District. During this transition, former Tuscany Heights Counselor, Kacee Dahlberg will be assisting us. Mrs. Dahlberg knows many of our students and will be an asset to our team during testing and assisting our students.
We will be working very closely with our teachers to continue providing a safe and nurturing environment for all our students. Please be assured that their safety and well-being are our most important goals. If as student does not feel safe, it is difficult to be successful academically. Thank you for all your support during this difficult time.
