Dear Tuscany Heights Elementary Parent/Guardian,
I am sending this email to inform you about a situation involving one of our counselors. A counselor on our campus made physical contact with two students while redirecting them in the cafeteria. The counselor will not be on campus during the district’s Human Resources investigation of this incident.
In the meantime, her duties will be taken over by the leadership team and a district substitute. We are working closely with the district’s Human Resources department to provide a long-term substitute for our students.
At Tuscany Heights Elementary School, we are concerned not only with our students’ academic performance, but also with their emotional well being. We will be available for students who may need extra assistance during this period of transition.
