Parents,
It is with great joy that I share the news that Tuscany Heights Elementary School has been named the 168th Lighthouse School in the World. Many of you know that for 6 years we have implemented Stephen Covey's work with the 7 Habits to Highly Effective People and 7 Habits to Healthy Kids, a little bit each year. Basically, we have used the 7 Habits to integrate into our daily school instruction and routines while building student leaders. We have seen our students grow into exceptional leaders in many different roles. They are setting goals and working hard achieving them! I am so proud of the leadership and modeling from my staff, and I couldn't be more thrilled with our students and how they have stepped into leadership roles without blinking an eye. Way to go Tigers!
To be recognized worldwide as one of very few schools that have taken this challenge and succeeded, we certainly feel confident that our students are on the right path to making a difference in the world.
