THE PTA Alumni Scholarship Application

The purpose of this scholarship is to offer financial assistance to two senior Tuscany Heights Elementary alumni students graduating high school. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on service and volunteerism in our community and school. 

Eligibility:

The applicant must be a Tuscany Heights Elementary alumni who graduated fifth grade from Tuscany Heights Elementary. (Only one year of attendance - during fifth grade - required.) The applicant must be a senior student graduating from high school this year.
The applicant must have plans to continue his/her education.
The applicant must demonstrate character traits that may include (but are not limited to):
  • Good citizenship
  • Integrity
  • Dependability
  • Service to others
  • Leadership

To the student:

The application packet must include (or it will not be considered):
  • A completed application form - ALL SECTIONS MUST BE COMPLETED
  •  An essay stating the following (in 500 words or less):
  1. Why you are applying for the scholarship?
  2. What are your future plans and goals?
  3. What have your volunteer experiences  taught you and how will you apply it in the future?
  4. To which school have you been accepted? 

Value:

The value of each scholarship awarded is TBD. The scholarship will be paid in one lump sum payable to the student. Awarded students will be announced at the Tuscany Heights Elementary alumni breakfast in May. ​
