Snack Drive
February 27th - March 8th
We are collecting snacks to make snack packs for food insecure kids at Olmos Elementary. We will be collecting individually packaged portions of items from the list below. Collection bins will be in the front entrance and you are welcome to drop off items when you come Run For The Heights on Saturday, March 4th! Let's synergize to get all the items we need!
Kinder: Single serve portions of ravioli (with pull top lids so no can opener is required)
1st grade: Snack size bags of Cheez-It type crackers
2nd grade: Snack size bags of pretzels
3rd grade: Fruit snacks
4th grade: Small bottles of water
5th grade: Single serve portions of ravioli (with pull top lids so no can opener is required)
We will have a service opportunity after school on Thursday, March 9th to assemble the snack packs. Stay tuned for more details!

Bike Rodeo

Bike drop-off/pick up information:
- Available on Thursday evening, October 27th, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- Available on Friday morning, October 28th, from 7:00-7:45 a.m.
- All bikes should be taken to Gym #1 in the back of the school.
- All bikes MUST be picked up by Friday afternoon.
- You may also pick up your child’s bike after they participate in the Bike Rodeo.
- Please label all bikes and helmets with your child’s name, grade, and teacher
Reminders for day of the bike rodeo:
- Bike Rodeo spectators need to park in visitor parking and check in through the front office.
- We will start with 5th grade, then kindergarten through 4th grade. We hope to end around 11:30 am.
- Spirit shirts will be available for purchase the morning of Bike Rodeo. Cash, check, credit, and debit will be accepted.

The FIRST 100 Tuscany Heights students to register by 9/4/15 will get a FREE “Go Tigers” drawstring backpack. We will also have 12 drawing prizes for the FIRST 100 adults who register by 9/4/15. Prize winners will be announced at the October General PTA Meeting and Run For The Heights Pep Rally!!!
Go ahead and register at Meet Teacher Night and take your backpack home with you!!!! Don't worry, all early bird registrations will count towards the incentive contests that will start in December.

RFTH Activity Challenge Contest
Would you like to see our principals run the Fun Run dressed as a Super Hero? Would you like to get prepared for the 5K? You can do both by completing the 28 day Activity Challenge. If we have at least 350 T.H.E. students complete the daily activity log AND register for the Fun Run or 5K, then our principals will run the Fun Run dressed as Super Heroes!!! Let's synergize and reach our goal!! Start Monday, Jan 26 in order to be finished by Feb 23. Turn in the completed forms to the front office. |

4th Annual
Run for the Heights
Thank you to all of our students, families, staff and Tuscany community for supporting our 4th Annual Run for the Heights 5K/Kids' Fun Run & Health Fair! The weather was perfect, and we had almost 900 runners participate in the Fun Run and 5K. Run for the Heights not only raised funds for the Tuscany Heights Elementary PTA, but helped promote health and wellness in the community! Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the 4th Annual Run for the Heights!

Sister School Toy Drive
Part of our mission to assist our sister school,
East Terrell Hills Elementary, is to collect things they need. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, we are pleased to announce our Sister School Toy Drive. THE PTA will collect new, unwrapped toys November 26 - December 13.
